How many torsion-spring watches can be verified at once?

Manual calibration of a torsion-spring gauge: clamping takes 5 minutes, point-by-point readings take 10 minutes, recording and calculations take 5 minutes, and generating the report takes another 5 minutes. With one slip of the hand in between, the entire process had to be restarted.

Manual verification—where exactly is the bottleneck?

• Slow. It takes over ten minutes to inspect a single watch, so we can’t check many in a day; batch verification can only be done through overtime.
• Drift. Whether the loading is fast or slow, and whether the reading is taken early or late, it all depends on feel. Spring‑loaded gauges offer high precision, but even the slightest hand tremor can introduce error.
• Messy. Data is recorded in a notebook and then entered into the computer later; if even one number is copied incorrectly, the entire report must be discarded.

Fully automatic—how do we solve this?

• Slow? → The machine runs on its own. Automatic positioning, point-by-point loading, reverse return, and repeat verification—no manual supervision required throughout the entire process. In the time it takes to check one meter, you can already prepare the next one.
• Float? → Program-controlled parameter. The loading speed, stabilization time, and sampling timing are all fixed; measurements taken today and tomorrow yield identical results.
• Confused? → The data goes straight into the software. Real-time data acquisition, automatic error calculation, automated pass/fail determination, and one-click report generation—complete with serial number, date, and conclusions—eliminating the need for manual transcription.
