High-Precision Fully Automatic Ball Diameter Gauge The AKMP-25 high‑precision fully automatic ball diameter gauge is capable of inspecting steel balls and ceramic balls, and is also suitable for metrological verification institutions to perform calibration of balls and spherical standard plug gauges. The instrument employs a German‑made, ultra‑high‑precision HEIDENHAIN measurement sensor, delivering a repeatability of 0.03 µm in comparative measurements. An optional gas‑protected enclosure (transparent, allowing internal observation) prevents prolonged exposure of the target balls to air, moisture, and oxygen, thereby minimizing oxidation and ensuring operation in an oxygen‑free, dry environment. The entire system is computer‑controlled and, when paired with specialized calibration software, can meet users’ measurement requirements.
